Land's End
Today brought us a pair of long, uneventful train journeys down to land of pasties, troubled only by the startling increase in the size and frequency of hills, as we headed southwest.
At our B&B, a fellow, seemingly more experienced cyclist was good enough to reassure us that we are taking the more challenging route across Cornwall!
As with all picture postcards, the weather is warm and Penzance is a gorgeous place to stay.
Tonight, Cornwall has a good westerly wind to assist (read: blow) us towards St Austell tomorrow (hopefully), and we’re going to enjoy an early night after a good meal of bitter and pasta at the Turk’s Head (the first ever pub to bear this name).
Finally, an enormous thank you to all of you for your pledges, support and encouragement. Keep your fingers crossed for us tomorrow.
