Ant's Charity - The Fund & Friends of Addenbrooke's
As a young adult I have spent several painful weeks in hospital recovering from reconstructive tendon surgery on both ankles. I continue to be staggered by the courage and resilience of children faced with frequently much more distressing circumstances, circumstances which they may not even fully understand. Because I believe that the highest quality facilities and services can help these children through difficult times, I am riding the End to End in support of Childrens Services (Ward D2) at The Fund for Addenbrooke’s Hospital. Children staying on Ward D2 require general or speciality surgery, including orthopaedics, facial surgery, neurosurgery, urology and plastic surgery. Please help these brave patients by sponsoring us to ride for The Fund for Addenbrooke’s Hospital.

Steve's Charity - Brian House
Brian House provides the support for families and care for children who will not be cured of their illness. These children have life-threatening and life-limiting diseases and they and their families have very complex needs.
Respite care, given at regular intervals, enables the family the opportunity to experience times of relief and normality. To give ‘mum’ a break from the 24 hour demands of the profoundly handicapped child. To give ‘dad’ a chance to see his wife as more than just a nurse and to give brothers and sisters a time to be the centre of attention for a change. This normality that we take for granted is something special for the patients and their families.
Brian house is funded purely by voluntary donations and as such requires regular contributions to ensure the continued running and care for its patients. Please give generously in support of this dedicated specialist children’s unit.
